Here you can find out a bit about what I have been doing in my arty life and sometimes see news about where you can see my work.

First solo exhibition
It was amazing and deeply satisfying to set up my own show. I had a sequence of 23 paintings that followed willow herb through 3 seasons. It was almost an installation. I appreciated the body of work being shown together like that.

How do I grow my event organising skills?
The main things an art show of paintings needs is some paintings, a venue and an audience. This month I am going to talk about the behind the scenes non-painting aspects of getting ready for the show.

What is in store for 2024?
Finding out about the show has impacted on my practice, mainly because when I started to plan how to use the space I’ve been offered, I realised I had more wall available than I first realised. Luckily, I have time to make some more paintings and I have proceeded to work a bit differently than I have before to really have a cohesive body of work ready for the exhibition.
